Privacy Policy

Last updated 2 November 2026

This platform is a private operating tool built and run by Chester Chipperfield (“I”, “me”). It is used by me and by a small number of founders I advise, each of whom is invited personally. It is not a public service and has no public sign-up.

What data the platform holds

  • Account details for invited users: name, email address and sign-in credentials.
  • Working material about the companies I advise: notes, documents, tasks, contacts and financial records that I or a founder add.
  • Applications submitted through the public apply form: the details you enter there.
  • Basic access logs needed to keep the service secure.

Google account data

I connect my own Google account (Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Drive) to the platform so it can show me my own mail, calendar and files alongside my work. Specifically:

  • Gmail: the platform reads messages to surface threads relevant to a company or task, and sends mail only when I ask it to.
  • Google Calendar: the platform reads my events to build a daily briefing.
  • Google Drive: the platform reads files I choose to link to a company.

Google data is read for my account only. It is not sold, not shared with third parties, not used for advertising, and not used to train machine learning or artificial intelligence models. Access tokens are stored encrypted and can be revoked at any time from the platform’s settings or from your Google account permissions page.

The platform’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who can see the data

Only me, as the platform administrator, and an invited founder for their own company’s material. Data is hosted on Supabase and Vercel, which process it on my behalf under their own security commitments. No data is sold or shared for marketing.

How long data is kept

Data is kept for as long as it is useful to the advisory relationship. Invited users can ask for their account and material to be deleted at any time, and I will do so promptly. Disconnecting a Google account deletes the stored tokens immediately.

Your rights

You can ask what data the platform holds about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or withdraw a Google connection. Email chesterchipperfield@gmail.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated. Material changes will be communicated to invited users directly.
